Bio-Spreading at Rabbit Island
Nelson Marlborough Waste specialises in the spreading of biosolids as a fertiliser at Rabbit Island, Tasman, under contract for the Nelson Regional Sewerage Business Unit.
This has two benefits:
1. Rabbit Island has been transformed from a low productivity to a high productivity site. I.e. the trees grow larger and faster than anywhere in the region.
2. Discharges into Tasman Bay are significantly reduced.

NMWaste is the most experienced bio-spreading company in New Zealand.
Waste Oil Collection
NMWaste provide a free pick-up service in Nelson, Tasman, Blenheim and Picton areas for larger volumes, which council transfer stations won't accept.

We filter and dewater the waste oil we collect so it can be reused.
